How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
Fixedrobert Restoration does not have a crew that comes to your home. You talk with an independent provider from our network. Each one is a separate local business.
The provider answers your questions, looks at the damage and gives you a quote. The provider also does the work if you hire them.
What Happens When You Reach a Provider
Expect a few simple questions. Be ready to share:
- What happened and when you noticed it.
- Which rooms or areas are wet.
- Whether the water is clean, dirty or unknown.
- If power is on in the wet area.
Photos help. Take them before moving anything.
Before You Reach Out
Write down a few notes first. Note the date, the source of the water if you know it, and the name of your insurer. Having this ready makes the talk shorter and clearer. Request a callback to check provider availability in your area.
What to Ask a Provider
Ask these before you agree to anything:
- Are you licensed and insured where I live?
- How will you find all the wet areas, not just the visible ones?
- How will you dry walls, floors and framing?
- How will you know when the home is dry?
- Can you help document damage for an insurance claim?
- Will you give me a quote in writing?
Do not sign anything you do not understand. Do not pay in full before work starts.
Why Details Matter
Water that is left in a wall or under a floor can lead to mold and rot. Hidden moisture can hurt the home and its resale value. A good provider explains how they check for it.
You Are in Control
You can ask for more than one quote. You can say no. You can take time to read the terms. There is no obligation to hire any provider you talk to.
If the provider's answers feel vague, ask again or talk to another one.
When you are ready, you can send a request and compare what you hear back.
